Judicial Nomination
Notice is hereby given that the Judiciary Committee
of the Bar Association of the City of Richmond solicits and
invites suggestions from the Bench, Bar and the public at-large
of names of qualified persons to be considered for endorsement
as a candidate for a judicial vacancy in the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond
Division occasioned by the decision of the Hon. James R.
Spencer to take Senior status.
Suggestions must be in writing and should be
mailed to Craig T. Merritt, Esq., c/o Richmond Bar Association,
P. O. Box 1213, Richmond, VA 23218 or hand-delivered to him
at the Bar office located at 707 E. Main Street, Suite 1620,
Richmond, VA 23219. Please include contact information for
the individual(s) whom you nominate. Nominations
must be received by 12:00 noon on Friday, June 14, 2013 in
order
to be considered.
